Lithril respects copyright and other intellectual property rights. This policy explains how rights holders can report allegedly infringing content on the Lithril platform and how we respond to those reports.
We may act under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), analogous copyright laws, contractual obligations to payment providers, and our own platform rules when we review notices.
This policy applies to books, chapters, cover images, author materials, comments, profile text, and other user-submitted content available through Lithril's website, author portal, and mobile applications.
Authors are responsible for ensuring they have the rights required to upload and monetise content. Repeated or serious infringement may lead to removal, demonetisation, payout holds, or account termination.
To submit a valid copyright complaint, send a written notice to our copyright contact that includes:
Incomplete notices may delay review or be rejected if we cannot reasonably verify the claim.
When we receive a complaint that appears sufficiently complete, we typically acknowledge it or begin review within 24 to 72 hours, although complex, incomplete, or high-volume matters may take longer.
During review, we may remove or disable access to the reported material, notify the affected account holder, request more information from either side, preserve relevant records, and coordinate with payment or hosting partners where necessary.
If we determine that a complaint is valid, the reported content may remain offline permanently and related monetisation or payout privileges may be restricted.
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that includes:
We may forward a valid counter-notification to the original complainant and may restore content no sooner than 10 business days, and generally within 10 to 14 business days, if the complainant does not provide evidence of formal legal action within the period required by applicable law.
Lithril applies a repeat infringer policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts of users or authors who are the subject of repeated, credible copyright complaints or who repeatedly upload material that infringes the rights of others.
We may track repeated notices as strikes, place payout holds, disable publishing features, or require additional proof of ownership before allowing future uploads.
Submitting false, misleading, or abusive copyright notices or counter-notifications is prohibited. We may reject such submissions, reverse related moderation decisions, or take enforcement action against the sender.
This policy does not prevent Lithril from taking faster or broader action when required by law, our Terms of Service, or obligations to payment providers and partners.
Send copyright complaints and counter-notifications to:
Include enough detail for us to identify the content, review the claim efficiently, and contact you if we need clarification.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or platform changes. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
